Minhang martyr cemetery

Minhang martyr cemetery is located on a small island in the lake, leisure park, Xinzhuang Industrial Zone, west of QinChun Road, Zhongchun Road, Xinzhuang District, Minhang District, Shanghai. The whole cemetery covers an area of more than 24600 square meters. The cemetery is composed of four parts: office building, memorial square, revolutionary martyrs' deeds exhibition hall and martyrs' tomb area. On the west side of the memorial square stands a monument with a height of 4.5 meters and a width of 10 meters. On the front is engraved the inscription of Comrade Mao Zedong: revolutionary martyrs are immortal. The exhibition hall has a building area of 2452 square meters. It mainly displays the life stories of revolutionary martyrs, their remains and relics. The tomb area of the martyrs is terraced, burying the loyalties of some of the PLA commanders and soldiers who died in the Anti Japanese War and the Shanghai liberation campaign, as well as the 181 revolutionary martyrs who died unfortunately on business after the founding of the people's Republic of China. The pines and cypresses in the cemetery are evergreen and solemn.

Cemetery history

In order to commemorate the revolutionary martyrs and celebrate their historical achievements, the former Shanghai County People's government built the revolutionary martyrs' tombs twice in the autumn of 1949 and the spring of 1962 in huangjiatang and the nursery of Beiqiao farm.

In March 1993, due to the change of administrative divisions, < b > Shanghai martyr cemetery was renamed as < b > Minhang martyr cemetery. In March 1995, the cemetery of the martyrs in Minhang District was named as the patriotic education base of Minhang District by the people's Government of Minhang District. In April 2003, the people's Government of Minhang District approved the project and decided to allocate more than 26 million yuan from the government to relocate and rebuild the martyr cemetery in Minhang District.

On June 18, 2003, the new martyr cemetery in Minhang District was officially built on the west side of QinChun Road, Zhongchun Road, Xinzhuang Industrial Zone. On December 22, 2003, the tomb was moved. It was basically completed and opened to the outside world before the Qing and Ming Dynasties in 2004.

Hou Bo Quan.

Hou Boquan (1909-1938) < b >, from Zhuzhai Town, Minhang District. At the age of 14, he became an apprentice in Shanghai hengyufeng fabric factory. After the 813 incident, Zhuzhai people's Anti Japanese self defense force was set up in his hometown. In July 1938, the third detachment of Songhu guerrilla group, which joined Gu Fusheng, was sent to the Yao Botao Department of local self defense forces to do liaison work. On August 11 of the same year, during the activity in Hengjing village of Zhuzhai, the encampment was surrounded by Japanese and puppet forces. Unfortunately, it was captured the next day, and it was detained in the West Shanghai command of Japanese aggressor army in hejiajiao (address: Donghua University, Shanxi Road, today). On August 18 of the same year, it was killed by Japanese aggressors.

Zhao Ji Chang

Zhao Jichang (1912-1941) < b >, born in Zhuzhai Town, Minhang District. In 1937, he organized local Anti Japanese self defense forces with Hou Boquan and Feng bangzuo. After attending the meeting of "making friends" held by Gu Fusheng in March 1938, he carried out Anti Japanese and anti traitor activities in his hometown. In July of the same year, he joined the third Songhu guerrilla detachment, and then was sent to the second brigade of the "loyal rescue army" to do liaison work, and later served as the leader of the first squadron of the third Songhu guerrilla detachment. In September 1939, he led the Department to cooperate with Ye Fei's New Fourth Army Jiangnan Anti Japanese volunteer army to fight against the Japanese puppet army. From the autumn of 1939 to the spring of 1940, he and Feng bangzuo carried out the tax collection work of resisting Japan and saving the country. On April 18, 1941, he was betrayed by his fellow countrymen Zhu Guoliang. Unfortunately, he was arrested and detained in Huangdu pseudo tax office. So on June 16, he was killed in Huangdu normal playground.

Yan Tong Yu

Yan Tongyu (1917-1942) < / b >, formerly sun Nianxin, born in Maqiao Town, Minhang District, graduated from Sanlin junior business college. In 1936, he was admitted to Shanghai Commercial Press, where he worked as a board maker and a copywriter. In 1937, he also served as an amateur night school teacher for the workers in the library, carrying out Anti Japanese propaganda. In December 1939, he joined the Communist Party of China and served as a member of the branch of the commercial press of the Communist Party of China. In 1941, Yan Chengyu, his younger brother, was mobilized to join the New Fourth Army, and he purchased chemical utensils, typography and progressive books and periodicals, which were distributed to the Jianghuai newspaper office of the Ministry of military affairs and the Engineering Department of the 11th brigade of the Sixth Division. In June 1942, he was arrested for betrayal by traitors and was detained in Wang puppet detention center, No. 76 Jisi Feier Road (now Station Road). He died on October 11, 1942.

Gu Zhen

Gu Zhen (1913-1942) < / b >, Gu Jiazhai, Chenxing Town, Minhang District, formerly known as Zengfu, No. zhenhuo. Graduated from the third normal school of Taicang Jiangsu Province in 1933. In June 1936, he was selected by the county government to be sent to the public training class of Jiangsu Province in dengyunshan, Zhenjiang, and later served as the president of Beiqiao District Central civil school. In September 1937, he went to Shanghai to help set up the "refugee shelter". In the spring of 1938, the "Anti Japanese guerrillas" were established in their hometown and employed as the deputy chief of the first brigade of the fifth detachment of Songhu guerrilla column. In 1940, he became the principal of Chenhang Central Primary School, secretly developed "Songhu Anti Japanese Youth League", and later became the leader of Nanhui people's Anti Japanese Self Defense Corps. In the spring of 1941, he taught in Shanghai life primary school and introduced his comrades to the "four middle schools for defense" led by the Communist Party of Pudong. In May of, he went to visit the first division of the New Fourth Army in Northern Jiangsu. From October of the same year, served as the chief of Civil Affairs Section of "Qingdong office". On February 6, 1942, he was killed by ZHONGJIU army in the countryside near Gangshan, north of Qingpu.

Ren High

Cao Renshou (1914-1945) < b >, born in Zhuanqiao Town, Minhang District. He graduated from Shanghai Normal School in 1933 and stayed for 4 years. He joined the army in 1937. In October 1938, he joined the army in Hankou. Entered Nanchang aviation school in 1939. After graduation in 1941, he served as the second lieutenant pilot of the fourth air force. In the spring of 1944, a sunset aircraft was hit in Hengyang air battle, and in the winter of the same year, another sunset aircraft was hit in Guiyang air battle. In June 1945, the Central Plains Hunan Hubei battle, took off in Enshi airport in Hubei Province, lost his life. In 1948, Zhuanqiao people built Renshou hall in the east of town to commemorate. In July 1952, he pursued the revolutionary martyrs.

Zhang Chung Yi.

Zhang Chongyi (1923-1945) < b >, also known as < b > Zhang Tongxu < / b >, born in Zhoupu, Nanhui County, lives in lujiahui, Minhang District. In 1939, he worked as a postman in Zhoupu post office of Nanhui County. In the summer of 1942, he joined the fifth group of Songhu guerrilla fifth detachment of the New Fourth Army. In August of the same year, the Ministry joined in the struggle to open up Anti Japanese bases in eastern Zhejiang. In 1943, he served as the cultural instructor of the first brigade of the third detachment of the East Zhejiang guerrilla column of the New Fourth Army and participated in the Communist Party of China. In December 1944, he was transferred to coach of the third detachment, the first brigade and the second squadron. On the evening of August 17, 1945, the three detachment went to Yaobei with the column headquarters and fought fiercely with the Japanese invaders who withdrew to Hangzhou.

Zhao Du Xin

Zhao Duoxin (1919-1947) < / b >, born in zhaojiaqiao, north of Duhang, Minhang District. In the autumn of 1935, he graduated from Shanghai middle school (business). In 1936, he was appointed accountant of Xinghua County Government in Northern Jiangsu. In 1939, he served as the general affairs department of Duhang Central Primary School, participated in the "Songhu youth Anti Japanese working group" and the reading conference. In 1941, the association of faculty and staff was organized to publish the school news and alumni in secret. He joined the Communist Party of China in March 1942. In the spring of 1944, he went to Songhu detachment of Nanhui new Fourth Army to do political work, and his pseudonym was sun Pingxin. In October of the same year, he served as a member of the CPC Nanhui County Road North District Committee. At the beginning of the next year, the exploration and construction work of opening up secret military traffic lines was carried out. After the victory of the Anti Japanese War, Shen Bingxin assumed the pseudonym of special commissioner in Pudong area of Songhu Working Committee of the CPC. In the spring of 1946, he was transferred to Qingpu District and changed his name to Zhao Wannian. On November 29, he was surrounded and arrested by Kuomintang military and police. On January 18, 1947, he was killed by the reactionaries in Zhujiajiao.

Long Guan Tao

Gu Guantao (1904-1947) < b >, Gu Jiazhai, Chenxing Town, Minhang District. In 1937, he joined the secret service area team of the first brigade of the fifth Songhu guerrilla detachment, and then transferred to the first detachment, the first squadron of the Nanhui people's Anti Japanese Self Defense regiment, and successively served as the monitor and chief of the Department. In 1941, he was elected as the township head of the puppet Soviet countryside, secretly raising food and salaries for the New Fourth Army. In 1946, he served as the leader of Chenhang district's guard group and fought against Chiang. On May 3, 1947, he was arrested by the police in dongniuwei, Nanhui city. On November 28 of the same year, he was killed by the enemy at Pu'an cemetery in Minhang.

Wu g min

Wu gengmin (1914-1947) < b > lived in Diqiao Town, Pudong. In 1946, he participated in the "Chenhang District guard team" and actively carried out activities under the direct leadership of Comrade Zhang Rongzeng, member of the Songhu Working Committee of the Communist Party of China. On April 20, 1947, traitors Li longfu and sun Jingnan led a total of more than 60 members of the criminal police and security forces of the Kuomintang County, besieging the Ding protection brigade and some of its members who were working near Tangkou. Wu gengmin was captured. In July of, he was killed in Pu'an cemetery of Minhang.

Zhao Rui Qing

Zhao Ruiqing (1909-1949) < / b >, born in shenjiaxiang, Qibao town, Minhang District, graduated from Qingpu middle school. In 1937, he and Yang Guocai, Xu shouchang, etc. organized the "peasant self defense guerrilla" in shenjiaxiang, which the local people called the "Yang Mao army". Later, it was compiled as the third squadron of the first brigade of the third detachment of Songhu guerrillas. In the autumn of 1938, he helped Shen Jiaxiang primary school to resume classes and set up night schools for farmers as substitute teachers. In December 1939, he joined the Communist Party of China. In 1947, he was arranged by the underground Party of the Communist Party of China to be the chief protector. In late January 1949, the construction period was deliberately delayed by using the identity of the chief protector in the way of no, less, women and child labor. In March 1949, he was severely beaten and killed by Kuomintang soldiers.

Zhang Fu Xing

Zhang Fuxing (1924-1950) < b >, born in xihebang, Xinzhuang Town, Minhang District. In 1939, he entered xinhebang primary school. In the winter of 1943, he was responsible for the liaison work in the struggle against grain in xihebang area under the leadership of the Chinese intermediary. In the spring of 1944, he joined the Communist Party of China. In 1945, he and Zhang Dezhong set up xihebang Liaison Station of Songhu detachment of the New Fourth Army, and served as the person in charge of the Liaison Station and traffic officer. In November 1945, he was organized as the 7th regiment of the 1st vertical, 3rd Brigade and 7th regiment of huayo, successively serving as soldier, instructor and security officer. In April 1949, he took part in the battle to liberate Shanghai and won the third class merit twice. On October 25, 1950, he was ordered to join in the war against the United States and aid Korea. At that time, he was the security section officer of the Political Department of the 60th division of the 20th army of the Chinese people's Volunteer Army. In the second counterattack on November 20 of the same year, when reading the newspaper at the entrance of the tunnel of the front command post of our 60th division of the right earth water, he was hit by the enemy plane and unfortunately died.

Xing Jian Fu

Xing Genfu (1919-1950) < b >, born in xingjiayan, Duhang, Minhang District. In 1935, he went to a revolutionary school named "orphanage" in Tai'an, Shandong Province, where he raised and educated the martyrs and orphans. He worked and studied here and joined the Communist Party of China. In 1937, he joined the Shandong column of the Eighth Route Army and served successively as a soldier and monitor. After the civil war, he served as the Deputy platoon leader of the 2nd Battalion 4th company of the 2nd detachment of the 0080 army of the Chinese people's Liberation Army. He had successively participated in the famous battles such as Menglianggu, Yudong, Huaihai and Shanghai Liberation. In 1950, he joined the Chinese people's Volunteer Army and participated in the first and second counterattack after entering the DPRK. It was December of that year. Unfortunately, he died in the battle of Gansi.

Ding Guo Jun.

Ding Guojun (1939-1962) < / b >, born in Dingjiazhai, Wujing village, Wujing Town, Minhang District. Before his death, he was a member of the fifth production team of Jinxing brigade of Tangwan commune, engaged in agricultural production and served as the basic militia of the production team. He saved people twice in 1961. In the early morning of June 5, 1962, when the shift was completed, someone was found stealing broad beans from the production team on his way home. During the fight with the criminals, he was choked to death by the criminals who blocked his mouth and nose with mud. After the sacrifice, the Shanghai Police area of the Chinese people's Liberation Army was awarded the honorable title of "excellent basic militia".

Zhou Ge fa

Zhou GEFA (1955-1977) < b >, from Minhang District, with high school education. He joined the regiment in September 1972 and joined the army in January 1973. Before his death, he was a radio operator and monitor of the civil aviation Yan'an air station of the Chinese people's Liberation Army. On July 21, 1977, Yan'an area was attacked by the flood. Unfortunately, it was swept away by the flood in the process of protecting state property, and died with honor. After his sacrifice, the Party committee of the armed forces recalled third-class contributions for him.

Tang Jian Guang

Tang Jianguang (1959-1978) < / b >, from Minhang District, with high school education, joined the army in March 1978, and was a soldier of the grand Guantong station of the 37882 army of the people's Liberation Army. On the morning of November 9, 1978, in the training of shooting with live ammunition, he was responsible for the task of picking up targets. Unfortunately, he lost his life because of a jump.

Xu He Yun

Xu Heyun (1962-1982) < / b >, from Minhang District, with high school education, joined the army in January 1981 and the regiment in November of the same year. He was a fighter in the teaching and training camp of Nanjing Army School of the Chinese people's Liberation Army. On the morning of October 30, 1982, the 15th Cadet team carried out the class attack live firing practice in Nanjing Niutoushan training ground, and the class was ordered to serve as the target reporting task. Due to the communication error, the next group has started shooting on the way back to the hidden spot after the ground target was tested. Unfortunately, they were shot dead to cover the new soldiers.

Mao Yi Ming

Mao Yiming (1965-1990) < / b >, from Minhang District, college education. He was enlisted in June 1983 and joined the party in December 1987. Before his death, he was a pilot at the company level, a lieutenant of the third group of the 24th regiment of the eighth division of the naval aviation of the Chinese people's Liberation Army. He once won the first prize in the "flight knowledge competition" held by the air service. On 4 July 1990, the army held night combat readiness flight training and unfortunately died at the age of 25.

Liu Guohua.

Liu Guohua (1953-1993) < b >, born in Chaoxian County, Anhui Province, lives in Wujing second village, Minhang District. From 1959 to 1970, he studied in Wannan primary school and Fenglin middle school. From 1971 to 1980, he worked in the 22nd company of Chongming Qianjin farm. Before his death, he was the team leader of Shanghai Silicate products factory. It was rated as the advanced producer in 81, 82 and 89 years. In 1990, he was awarded as a member of Minhang District internal security system excellent guard factory, and in 1993, he was awarded as a factory, head office and bureau level advanced producer. On December 17, 1993, he led the team members of the factory to carry out the task of waiting for ambush and died in the fight against the criminals.

Shi Jian Qing

Shi Jianqing (1980-1998) < b >, born in Lujiabang, Xingnan village, Meilong Town, Minhang District. He studied in Zhuhang middle school in September 1993, worked as a temporary worker in Guofu Longfeng Food Co., Ltd. in July 1996, and joined the joint defense team in November 1997. Before his death, he was a member of the joint defense team of Zhangmu branch of Meilong joint security team. On March 21, 1998, the joint defense team waiting for the mission in Wisteria No.2 village found that there was a suspect. He rushed to the scene of the siege, surrounded by the criminal, but jumped into the river, regardless of personal safety, he jumped into the river more than 2 meters deep. The suspect was caught, but Comrade Shi Jianqing died at the age of 17.
